Whom do we serve?

Big Brothers Big Sisters of MId-Maine  seeks to change the lives of children ages 5 to 14 who are facing adversity. Our Littles are often living in single-parent and/or  low-income homes and struggle academically or socially. Sometimes they are an only child, or maybe have a father or mother serving in the military and need that consistent positive male/female role model in their lives.

What do we do?

Our unique brand of one-to-one mentoring, in which a child facing adversity is carefully matched with a caring adult mentor in a relationship supported by professional Big Brothers Big Sisters staff members, changes lives for the better forever
